About Cornucopia

Officially established in 2014, the Cornucopia Collective seeks the betterment of the Pagan community at large through cultivating integrity, sustainability, growth and advancement for the fellowship we share. We do this through both direct action in the Pagan community and community at large; and through the magical, transformational work within the inner circle, which is guided by a desire to facilitate a strong and healthy commitment to quality service, empowerment and knowledgeable leadership within the Pagan community.

While the Cornucopia Tradition can be called Progressive Pluralistic Paganism or Post-Modern Paganism; the focus of Cornucopia is less about creating a new branch of Wicca/Paganism and more on creating new conversations within existing Pagan thought.  While preserving pre-Christian European Paganism is valued, it is our sincere effort to infusion new paradigms in old structures.

We are invested in understanding how best to help shape the future of paganism, how it has supported real people’s real lives, how to harness the pagan spiritual path to foster positive individual and collective growth, and how we can create thriving communities through facilitating genuine connection, acceptance, openness and non-judgement.

Our symbol, the cornucopia or horn of plenty has long been associated with the Earth, the seasons and a plethora of Goddesses and Gods from across pantheons. It represents abundance, nurturing and sustenance and it is often depicted overflowing with fruits, grains, flowers and nuts.

Our cornucopia overflows with the fruits of fellowship, spiritual expansion, magical attunement and ritual joy.  We honor diversity, social awareness, community service, healing and growth for each other in coven and to the greater magical and spiritual community.

Cornucopia Coven – The Inner Temple

Guiding Principle, Mission, Vision & Values Statement

Our Creed

Dedicated to building a fruitful Boston Pagan community, together!

Our Guiding Principle

As Above, So Below; As the Universe, So the Soul!

It is our belief that creating a strong, healthy inner circle dedicated to the development of Pagan clergy, who value service, leadership, mentoring, counseling, facilitating and teaching the Pagan faith and magical practices, will create a strong, healthy, and sustainable outer community.

With that in mind we adopt the following Mission, Vision & Values Statement.

Our Mission

It is the mission of Cornucopia Coven to foster within a closed, dedicated circle, a deeper spirit of fellowship, magic and support for those whose Pagan religious orientation is guided by a call to connection, and service to the community we serve. We honor this mission by developing compassionate and knowledgeable leadership, deep transformational inner work, union with the Divine and joyous fulfillment of the fruits of service through mentoring the development of Pagan leadership within both inner and outer circles.

Our further mission, within the Greater Boston Pagan community, is to create a focal point for a reliable Pagan spiritual community that embraces diversity and provides Greater Boston area Pagans with access to public ritual, thoughtful religious education and compassionate support.

Our Vision

We, the members of Cornucopia Coven, envision a close knit inner circle guided by the wisdom and magic of the divine.  It is our vision to create an inner circle grounded in intellectual, spiritual, emotional, magical and ethical development of Pagan clergy, teachers, mentors and community leaders.

We further envision a strong Boston Pagan community, bolstered by robust, ethical, spiritual teaching; characterized by transformative love, and sustained by compassionate leadership rooted in conscious action and service.

Our Values

We, the members of Cornucopia Coven, seek to honor the knowledge and skill of all individuals within our egalitarian inner circle while valuing and respecting the depth and breadth of wisdom that only comes from experience.  Our coven ethos (echoed in our community ethos) is one of respect, support, warmth, confidentiality, empathy and mediation.

May our values be reflected in our community efforts; as we offer public events and education that are: consistent, safe, reliable, visible, affordable and easily accessible via public transportation.  The needs and well being of the community and individuals within the community are our priority; in keeping with that value, our community ethos is one of respect, support, warmth, confidentiality, empathy and our Anti-Harassment Policy will be held stringently.
